Shafiqul Islam new DB chief

Additional Police Commissioner Md. Shafiqul Islam has been made chief of the Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). 

In this connection, an office order signed by DMP Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali was issued on Wednesday.

Shafiqul, a member of the 18th BCS, was working in the Highway Police as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police.
