BUET halts all exams till Sept 18

All examinations at all levels and terms across the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) have been halted. 

A notice was published in this regard on the university's website. According to the notice signed by the additional registrar Prof Dr NM Golam Zakaria, all examinations from August 30 to September 18 will be halted. 

Students from engineering faculties of various universities, including Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), are staging protests with three key demands. A clash between police and the protesting students broke out on Wednesday, and they have presented five fresh demands. They have also rejected the committee that the government formed to solve this situation.
