EC unveils national election roadmap

The action plan (roadmap) for the 13th parliamentary elections was announced by the Election Commission (EC) on Thursday. 

EC Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed made the announcement at a press briefing at the media centre of the Election Commission building in Agargaon, Dhaka.

He added that Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus has instructed that the election be held before Ramadan, in February next year, and the roadmap has been prepared accordingly.

On Wednesday, the Election Commission (EC) approved the action plan (roadmap) for the 13th National Parliamentary Election.
