US sends back 30 more Bangladeshis in chains

Thirty Bangladeshis have been deported from the US in handcuffs and leg irons. They arrived at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 11pm on Thursday on a special flight. At around 2am, their chains were removed, and they were taken to the arrival gate. 

Confirming the matter, an immigration official told the Daily Samakal that a special team of the home ministry, special teams of detective agencies, and officials from the US embassy were present at that time. 

Non-governmental Organisation BRAC provided them with financial assistance to reach their homes. 

In the last few months, at least 180 Bangladeshis have been deported from the US.
