Election environment completely favourable: EC Anwarul Islam

Election Commissioner Md Anwarul Islam Sarker has said that the overall environment for holding the 13th national election is fully favourable.

"We think that the environment for holding the election is 100 per cent in favour. So far, we don't see any unfavourable situation," he told reporters at the Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital's Agargaon area on Sunday. 

In response to a question regarding any uncertainty over the upcoming election, the Election Commissioner said, "The Commission does not think so... We have already announced our roadmap."
