Globe Biotech's Bangavax secures US patent

Bangladesh’s homegrown COVID-19 vaccine Bangavax, developed by Globe Biotech Ltd, has formally secured the US patent. 

Globe Biotech Ltd Lead Scientist Dr Kakon Nag revealed the achievement at a press conference held at Tejgaon on Sunday.

The the first such achievement for the country’s pharmaceutical products in the 54 years since independence.
