Stalin made DG of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy

Poet Sheikh Rezauddin Ahmed, popularly known as Rezauddin Stalin, has been appointed as the Director General of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. 

His appointment is set for a term of one year, effective from the date of joining. 

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification regarding this appointment on Sunday, signed by Deputy Secretary Abu Saleh Mahfuzul Alam, under the directive of the President.

According to the notification, Sheikh Rezauddin Ahmed’s appointment as Director General requires him to sever ties with any other institutions or organizations during his tenure. 

Additional terms and conditions of the appointment will be governed by the approved contract.

Notably, on September 14, Abul Faiz Md. Alauddin Khan, Additional Secretary (Administration) of the Ministry of Culture, was assigned the additional role of Director General of Shilpakala Academy through an office order. 

Rezauddin Stalin assumed the responsibility a week later.
