Ex-lawmaker of Shariatpur -1 constituency Mozammel arrested

Police on Sunday arrested a former lawmaker from Shriatpur-1 constituency and an organizing secretary of Awami League (AL), BM Mozammel Haque, from the capital's Niketon area.

 A team of the Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested Mozammel at around 02:45 pm, Deputy Commissioner of DB of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Muhammad Talebur Rahman told BSS. 

Mozammel was accused in four cases, including three murders linked to the July Uprising, he said.
