BERC adjusts jet fuel price upward

Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) on Wednesday adjusted Jet A-1 (jet fuel) price upward for domestic and international airlines.

According to the regulatory commission circular issued today, the price of Jet A-1 fuel was increased by Tk 3.02 per litre to Tk.99.29 Tk.96.09 for domestic careers.

For international airlines, the price has been increased by $0.0212 per litre to $0.6545 from US$0.6333.

The new pricing would come into effect from 12 midnight leading to October 9.

BERC said considering the Platts Rate from September 5 to October 4 on an average, it adjusted upward the jet fuel price for October, 2025.
