'July fighters' clash with police, cars vandalized

Police have dispersed the 'July fighters' who gathered in front of the July National Charter-2025 signing stage at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Friday. This angered the gathered mass, and a clash with the police broke out at around 1:15pm. 

'July fighters' vacated the parliament premises and vandalized several vehicles, including police cars, on the Manik Mia Avenue. Police fired tear shells and sound grenades. They chased the July fighters and charged batons. A round of chase and counter chase ensued. 

July fighters also lobbed brickbats at the police. The lit fires at several places on the road.

Previously, "July Martyr Family and Injured" people gathered at the venue with various demands at around noon.
