Metro rail services resume on Agargaon-Shahbagh route

Metro rail has resumed normal operations on the Agargaon-Shahbagh route on Thursday morning. 

Services were suspended at 9:10pm on Wednesday. An official of the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd (DMTCL) told the media that the problem was solved by 12:30am and services resumed on Thursday morning. 

On Sunday (October 26), a bearing pad came loose at the Farmgate area of the capital and fell on a pedestrian, killing him on the spot. Metro rail services were suspended afterwards. Services resumed at around 11am on Monday.
