21 arrested in 'Operation First Light' against 'Kakon Bahini'

An ongoing joint operation of the Police, RAB, and APBn in Rajshahi's Bagha, Pabna's Aminpur, Ishwardi, and Kushtia's Doulatpur was named 'Operation First Light.' 21 people have been arrested in this operation so far. It started at around 4am on Sunday. 

This operation was launched after a myriad of allegations against the 'Kakon Bahini' in the region. 

Confirming the matter, Rajshahi Range DIG Mohammad Shahjahan said, 5 foreign arms, a large number of local arms, drugs and a motorcycle were seized in the operation. 21 members of the Kakon Bahini were arrested. 

A total of 1200 members of various law enforcement agencies joined the 'Operation First Light.'
