HC grants bail to Ivy in 5 cases

The High Court (HC) on Sunday granted bail to former Narayanganj City Corporation Mayor Selina Hayat Ivy in five separate cases.

A High Court Division Bench of Justice ASM Abdul Mobin and Justice Md Sagir Hossain passed the order, declaring absolute a rule it had issued earlier.

Senior advocate Sara Hossain moved the plea for Ivy, while Deputy Attorney General Sultana Akter Rubi stood for the state.

Selina Hayat Ivy was detained from his Narayanganj Deovog house on May 9, 2025, and was later shown arrested in three murder cases and two attempt to murder cases.
