Law enforcement firmly positioned for AL's banned 'Dhaka Lockdown' on Nov 13: Home Adviser

Home Affairs Adviser Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury stated that law enforcement agencies are in a strong position regarding the Awami League's banned 'Dhaka Lockdown' program scheduled for November 13.

The situation will remain normal on that day, he hoped.

He made the remarks following a meeting of the Law and Order Advisory Council Committee at the Secretariat on Tuesday.

Chowdhury added, "No concessions will be given to terrorists. You often mention that terrorists secure bail too quickly, so they should not get bail easily. Accordingly, we will request those granting bail not to release terrorists."
