Another bus set on fire in the capital

A Malancha Paribahan bus was set on fire in the Sutrapur area of Old Dhaka around 7:00 pm on Tuesday.

Rafi Al Faruk, duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence control room, confirmed the incident. 

He stated that one unit from the Fire Service was dispatched to extinguish the blaze.

No information on casualties has been reported so far.

This follows multiple bus fires in the capital: two in Jatrabari and one in Uttara late Monday night, plus three more reported between Monday morning and night. 

Additionally, an abandoned private car was set on fire in Bashundhara residential area on Monday night.
