Diamond World owner sued for 'laundering' Tk 678 crore

Dilip Kumar Agarwala, owner of jewellery brand Diamond World, has been sued for allegedly laundering Tk 678 crore through smuggling of gold and diamonds.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has lodged the money laundering case
with Gulshan Police Station, said Jasim Uddin Khan, special superintendent (media) of CID.
The case was filed after a primary investigation found his involvement in money laundering.
