DMTCL to operate special services on Dec 31 for Khaleda’s janaza

Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) on Tuesday, December 30, said it would operate special metro services along with schedule time on Wednesday, December 31, to facilitate commuters to join former prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia’s Namaj-e-Janaza.

A DMTCL statement issued by its director AKM Khairul Alam said they would operate “special extra metro trains” to facilitate people to join the janza after Zohor prayers.

The namaj-e-janaza will be held at the Jatiya Sangsad South Plaza and the adjoining Manik Mia Avenue at around 2pm.
