LPG traders call off strike

The planned strike by liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) traders has been called off on Thursday evening. 

Traders have withdrawn their decision to halt the sale of LPG cylinders starting today. 

The announcement came following a meeting between the LPG Traders Association and the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) on Thursday, confirmed association president Salim Khan. 

The strike notice had originally been issued to distributors and retailers nationwide on Wednesday evening.
