Gold price hits record, 286,000 per bhori

There has been a big rise in the price of gold in the country's market. This time, the price of the best quality or 22-carat gold per bhori (11.664 grams) has been increased by Tk16,213 in one jump. This has brought the price of gold per bhori to Tk286,001. This has broken all previous records and created a new record for the highest price of this precious metal.

This information was given in a press release of the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) on Thursday.

BAJUS said that the price has been increased again due to the increase in the price of acid gold (pure gold) in the local market. The new price will be effective from today.

Last Tuesday, the price of a bhori of good quality gold was increased by Tk5,249. Then, on Wednesday, the price of bhori was increased by Tk7,348. As a result, the price of gold per bhori became Tk269,788. This time, it has increased by more than Tk16,000 in one jump, breaking all previous records and creating a new record for the highest price.

Never before has the price of gold increased so much in one go.

In addition, the price of 21-carat gold per bhori has increased by Tk272,996. And the price of 18-carat gold per bhori has increased by Tk233,998. And the price of traditional gold per bhori has increased by Tk193,039.
