Jhenaigati UNO made OSD

Jhenaigati Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Ashraful Alam Russell has been made Officer on Special Duty (OSD).

A notification in this regard was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday.

The notification said that Jhenaigati Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ashraful Alam Russell has been made Officer on Special Duty of the Ministry of Public Administration in the public interest. 

This will be effective immediately.

Incidentally, a clash broke out between BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami workers and supporters at the Jhenaigati Upazila Mini Stadium ground on Wednesday over the issue of a sitting in the election manifesto reading ceremony in Sherpur-3 (Shribardi-Jhenaigati) constituency. 

Rezaul Karim, Secretary of Sribardi Upazila Jamaat unit, was killed in the incident.
