Ban on using mobile phones at polling stations lifted

Journalists and election observers will be able to carry mobile phones inside polling stations on the day of the upcoming February 12 parliamentary elections and referendum, Election Commissioner Brigadier General (retd) Abul Fazal Md. Sanaullah said.

After visiting the booth at the Election Building in Agargaon in the capital on Monday, he told reporters, "Journalists and observers will not face any problems if they enter the polling station with mobile phones."
