50th BCS preliminary results published

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has published the results of the 50th BCS Preliminary Examination. 

A total of 12,385 candidates have passed the results.

The results were published on the PSC website on Tuesday afternoon. 

The PSC Examination Controller (Cadre) Masuma Afrin signed the notification for publishing the results on the PSC website.

The notification said that the possible date for the written examination of the candidates who passed the preliminary examination of the 50th BCS is April 9.

The PSC published the notification of the 50th BCS on November 26 last year to recruit 1,755 cadre and 385 non-cadre posts. 

A total of 290,951 candidates applied to take part in the preliminary examination. 

The examination was held simultaneously in 190 centres in Dhaka and seven other divisional cities on January 30.
