BNP unveils 180-day action plan following government formation

Prime Minister's Adviser Zahed Ur Rahman has announced that the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) possesses a detailed plan spanning the first 180 days after assuming power. 

This roadmap, originally prepared in advance, is set to undergo minor refinements and will be publicly presented in the near future. 

The objective is to clearly communicate to the citizens the immediate steps and initiatives the new government intends to undertake.

During a meeting held on Wednesday afternoon, various directives were issued. 

Zahed Ur Rahman clarified that although advisers were present, the gathering was not a formal cabinet session. 

Instead, it served as a courtesy meeting attended by ministers and advisers. 

He emphasised that advisers do not form part of the cabinet, confirming the informal nature of the discussion.

Additionally, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has directed preparations to effectively address potential challenges arising during the upcoming Ramadan period, ensuring smooth management of any issues that may emerge.
