Reshuffles in several top positions in Bangladesh Army

The Bangladesh Army has undergone a significant reshuffle in several top positions. 

An official order regarding these changes was issued by the Army Headquarters on Sunday afternoon, as confirmed by the Ministry of Defense.

Lieutenant General Mainur Rahman has been appointed as the new Chief of General Staff (CGS) at Army Headquarters. 

He was previously serving as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Army Training and Doctrine Command (ARTDOC).

Lieutenant General SM Kamrul Hasan, who held the position of Principal Staff Officer (PSO) at the Armed Forces Division, has been transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he will serve as an ambassador.

Major General Mir Mushfiqur Rahman has been appointed as the new Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Division. 

Prior to this, he was the GOC of the 24th Infantry Division (Chattogram area).
