Ali Hossain Fakir becomes new IGP

The government has appointed Additional Inspector General of Police (Additional IGP) and Armed Police Battalion (APBn) chief Md. Ali Hossain Fakir as the Inspector General of Police (IGP).

A notification in this regard was issued by the Home Ministry on Tuesday.

Md. Ali Hossain Fakir of Bagerhat is a member of the 15th batch of BCS (Police) cadre.
