First Eid-ul-Fitr congregation held at Baitul Mukarram

The first Eid-ul-Fitr congregation was held at the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram. 

The congregation was held at 7 am on Saturday.

The senior Pesh Imam of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, Maulana Mizanur Rahman, led the first congregation.

Before the prayer, Imam Maulana Mizanur Rahman gave a sermon to the worshippers present.

Four more Eid congregations are scheduled to be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.

According to the Islamic Foundation, five Eid congregations will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr in phases at 7 am (already held), 8 am, 9 am, 10 am and 11:45 pm.

The second congregation was led by Pesh Imam Mufti Muhibbullahil Baki Nadvi, and the third congregation was led by Maulana Md, Deputy Director of the Islamic Foundation. 

Zakir Hossain, Maulana Zobayer Ahmed Al Azhari, religious instructor of the Imam Training Academy, will lead the fourth Jamaat, and Maulana Mohammad Abdullah, Mufti of the Islamic Foundation, will lead the fifth and final Jamaat.

Maulana Shahidul Islam, assistant librarian of the Islamic Foundation, will be ready as an alternate imam at this time.
