Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kajal is new Attorney General

Senior Supreme Court lawyer Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kazal has been appointed as the 18th Attorney General of the Bangladesh. 

A notification in this regard was issued by the Law Ministry on Wednesday with the approval of the President.

Ruhul Quddus Kazal himself confirmed this information to journalists on Wednesday.

This member of the BNP National Executive Committee is a member of the Bangladesh Bar Council. He was also elected as the Secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association several times.

Barrister Kazal, a former student of the Law Department of Dhaka University, became a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association in 1996. He also worked as a journalist for some time.
