2 assistant attorneys general resign

Two assistant attorneys general working in the High Court have resigned from their posts. 

Ahmed Musanna Chowdhury and Md Mujahidul Islam Shahin submitted their resignation letters to the President on Thursday, said Md. Nasir Uddin, Administrative Officer of the Attorney General's Office. 

After Supreme Court senior lawyer Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kajal took charge as Attorney General on March 25, the performance evaluation of the Deputy and Assistant Attorney Generals began on Tuesday, March 31. 

The Deputy Attorney General was evaluated on the first day and the Assistant Attorney Generals on Wednesday and Thursday. In the meantime, two Assistant Attorney Generals resigned.
