3-day international tourism fair kicks of

A three-day international tourism fair, titled Dhaka Travel Mart 2026, will begin in the capital on Thursday, bringing together over 50 organisations to showcase travel, aviation and hospitality offerings.

More than 50 organisations from Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Vietnam, China and host Bangladesh are participating in the fair, showcasing products and services across 10 pavilions and over 80 booths.

The 21st edition of the fair will be held at the ballroom of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka, organised by The Bangladesh Monitor with the support of Air Astra and US-Bangla Airlines.

Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Afroza Khanam Rita is scheduled to inaugurate the event, while State Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat and lawmaker M Nasser Rahman will attend the opening ceremony.

Participants will offer discounted domestic and international air tickets, tour packages, hotel and resort accommodations, as well as medical tourism services, among others.

The fair will remain open to visitors daily from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm until April 11.
