SSC 2027 to start on January 7, HSC on June 6

The Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has proposed the routine for SSC and HSC examinations for 2027. 

It is known from the proposed routine that the SSC examination for 2027 will start on January 7 and the HSC examination will start on June 6.

The proposed routine has been sent to the Ministry of Education for approval. If the ministry makes any amendments or changes, the routine will be finalised after incorporating those amendments. 

This information was given in two separate notifications issued jointly by the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Boards on Thursday.

SSC exam schedule

According to the published routine, the Bangla (Compulsory) 1st Paper and Easy Bangla 1st Paper examinations will be held on January 7. These examinations will start every day from 10am. The theoretical or written examinations of SSC will end on February 6. After that, instructions have been given to complete the practical examinations of all other subjects including music by February 11.

HSC exam schedule

The Bangla (Compulsory) 1st Paper examination will be held on the morning of June 6. The theoretical or written examination of HSC will end on July 13. 

As per the routine, the HSC examination will be held in two shifts every day; the morning shift will be from 10am to 1pm and the afternoon shift will be from 2pm to 5pm. 

After the written examination, the practical examination of all subjects of HSC has been asked to be completed by July 18.

The education board authorities said in their notification that the board authorities have the power to change this schedule at any time in case of special needs. 

The instructions also mentioned that the candidates should take their seats in the examination room at least 30 minutes before the start of the examination.
