Voters increase by 628,000

In the last 6 months, the number of voters in the country has increased by 628,057.

On Thursday, AHM Anwar Pasha, Director General of the National Identity Card (NID) Registration Division of the Election Commission (EC), gave this information.

He said that since November 19, 2025, the number of voters has increased by 628,057. Earlier, there were 127,695,183 voters.

In total, there are now 128,323,240 voters in the country. Of these, 65,212,731 are males and 63,192,266 are females.

The voter growth rate is 0.5 percent.
