Prime Minister Tarique Rahman meets with Chinese President Xi

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman met Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Friday morning local time.

Earlier, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman laid a wreath at the monument located in China's historic Tiananmen Square.

After laying the wreath, the Prime Minister stood in silence for a while and paid deep respect to the memory of China's revolutionary heroes.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by his wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman, Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman, Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapan, Water Resources Minister Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie, Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir, Foreign Affairs Advisor to the Prime Minister Humayun Kabir, Education, Primary and Mass Education, Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment and Labor and Employment Advisor Mahdi Amin, and Additional Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Atiqur Rahman Rumon.
