4 more children die of measles symptoms

In the last 24 hours, four more children have died of measles symptoms in the country, counting from 8 am on Saturday to 8 am on Sunday.

However, no one has died of confirmed measles during this time. 

With this, the total number of deaths due to measles and measles symptoms has increased to 712.

This information was given in a message issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Sunday. 

Two people died with measles symptoms in Dhaka division and one each in Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions.

According to the DGHS, the number of confirmed deaths from measles is 93. And 619 people have died with measles symptoms.

Since March 15, a total of 99,207 children have been infected with measles symptoms and measles has been identified in 11,710 children. 

So far, 110,917 children have been infected with measles and measles symptoms.
