Bangladesh sends mangoes as goodwill gifts to West Bengal, Tripura Chief Ministers

The Bangladesh government has sent mangoes to West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari and Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha as goodwill gifts. 

In total, 1,100 kilogrammes of mangoes have been sent for the two Chief Ministers and eminent persons and high-ranking officials of the two states.

The mangoes were handed over to the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Kolkata and the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala through the Benapole border in Jessore and the Akhaura land port in Brahmanbaria on Tuesday afternoon. 

Amrapali and Haribhanga mangoes were sent from the Bangladesh Foreign Ministry. In total, 500 kilogrammes of mangoes in 100 cartons of five kilogrammes each have been sent to the Kolkata Deputy High Commission and 600 kilogrammes of mangoes in 120 cartons of five kilogrammes each have been sent to the Tripura Government mission. 

Out of this, 100 kilogrammes of mangoes have been sent to the two Chief Ministers Suvendu Adhikari and Manik Saha. 

The remaining mangoes will be distributed as goodwill gifts to eminent persons and high-ranking officials of the two states.
