HSC exams under Chattogram Education Board postponed until July 16

HSC and equivalent exams in all districts under Chattogram Education Board have been postponed until July 16 due to adverse weather and flood conditions.

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's Education and Primary and Mass Education Advisor Mahdi Amin gave this information at a press conference on Saturday afternoon.

He said that the decision was taken based on discussions with Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon and the district magistrates of the concerned districts.

Mahdi Amin also said that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is monitoring all the government's activities to deal with the flood situation round the clock. 

At the same time, the government has taken multifaceted steps to deal with natural disasters with utmost importance, he added.

He also said that the Prime Minister has instructed the people to stand by the people in the affected areas. 

The Prime Minister has also instructed party leaders and activists to participate in relief activities.

The districts of Chattogram Board include Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Rangamati, Bandarban and Khagrachari.
