3 die of dengue in 24 hrs

At least three dengue patients died and 458 others were hospitalised in the 24 hours until 8:00am on Sunday, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

With the new fatalities and infections, the total number of dengue-related deaths has risen to 43 for 2026, while the number of confirmed cases has reached 13,098.

Currently, a total of 1,118 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at hospitals across the country, according to DGHS data.
