Ad-Din Hospital gets license back on 3 conditions

The government has withdrawn the order to cancel the license of Ad-Din Hospital located in the capital's Bara Moghbazar. 

The hospital has been allowed to resume operations conditionally after considering the report of the investigation committee satisfactory.

This information was given in an order issued by the Health Services Division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Monday.

The order said that the investigation committee formed to review the appeal filed by the hospital authorities and its details in the death of six newborns at the hospital was ordered to conduct an on-site inspection. After the investigation, the report submitted by the committee was satisfactory, so the decision to cancel the license was withdrawn.

However, several conditions have been imposed on the operation of the hospital. These include - following the provisions of the Medical Practice and Private Clinics and Laboratories (Regulation) Ordinance, 1982 properly, quickly completing the appointment of the necessary duty doctors and nurses as per the conditions of the license and the government will take necessary action as per the law if the conditions of the license are violated in the future.
