Nasimul Ghani to remain Cabinet Secretary for another year

Nasimul Ghani will remain Cabinet Secretary for another year. 

A notification was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Monday extending his term.  

The notification stated that, in accordance with Section 49 of the Government Services Act, 2018, Dr Nasimul Ghani has been reappointed as Cabinet Secretary of the Cabinet Division for a period of one year from August 18, 2026, on the condition of renouncing any other profession, business or employment relationship with any government, semi-government or private institution or organisation, on a contract basis and in accordance with the previous contract.
