63 foreign nationals remanded for two days in Ctg

A Chattogram court has granted a two-day remand for 63 foreign nationals those were apprehended on suspicion of perpetrating online fraud operations within the West Khulshi-Jalalabad in the district.

The court has instructed the law enforcement members to submit the investigative findings within a 20-day timeframe.

Chattogram Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Muhidul Islam issued the directive.

Mohammad Hasan Iqbal Chowdhury, serving as acting deputy commissioner (prosecution) for Chattogram Metropolitan said, "The court has sanctioned a two-day remand for the 63 foreign nationals”.

 The defendants were present in the court under police supervision in the morning. They participated in the courtroom proceedings during the remand petition hearing.
