Bangladesh condemns reported drone attack targeting holy Makkah

Bangladesh on Wednesday strongly condemned the reported drone attack targeting the holy city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah in Saudi Arabia.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Bangladesh's profound respect for the sanctity of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and other holy sites in the Kingdom.

Bangladesh also expressed solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its people in their efforts to protect the holy sites.

"The safety and security of the holy sites must be fully respected and protected at all times," the statement said.
