Train coach fire doused at Kamalapur Railway Station

A fire that broke out in a coach of a train at Platform No. 2 of Kamalapur Railway Station in Dhaka was doused on Sunday night.

The firefighters brought the fire under control within six minutes at 9:52pm and finally doused the blaze at 10:16pm after frantic efforts.

FSCD Media Officer Talha bin Zasim confirmed the incident. The Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) received the report at 9:33pm. 

Two firefighting engines from Khilgaon Fire Station rushed to the spot and reached there at 9:46pm. The cause of the fire and the extent of damage were not immediately known.
