Mouchak-Moghbazar flyover opened to traffic

The remaining parts of the much-awaited Moghbazar-Mouchak Flyover formally opened to traffic on Thursday.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the flyover through video conferencing from her official residence Gonobhaban around 12:30pm.
Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon, Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Sayeed Khokon, Dhaka North City Corporation Panel Mayor Md Osman Ghani, Awami League activists, and flyover project officials were present on stage at an event in the Mouchak area.
The PM today opened the Kakrail-Malibagh, Rajarbagh-Mouchak, Rampura-Mouchak and Mouchak-Eskaton portions of the flyover.
After the inauguration of the rest 5.5-km overpass of the entire 8.7-km one, now the vehicles can go over eight road intersections and three level-crossings at Karwan Bazar, Moghbazar and Malibagh.
