Prime suspect in Kakrail double murder held

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested the prime suspect in the murders of a woman and her son in Dhaka's Kakrail.
Prime suspect Al Amin Jony has been arrested early Saturday from Gopalganj's Maksudpur, RAB said through a media briefing.
Following the murders, police detained Shamsun Nahar's husband businessman Abdul Karim.
Police also arrested a woman, Sharmin Aktar Mukta, the next day and said she is the third wife of Karim. Prime suspect Al Amin is Mukta's brother.
On Wednesday, Shamsun Nahar Karim, 40, wife of Shaon Karim, and their son Shawon, 22, were found dead in a flat of a multi-storey building in the city’s Kakrail area.
On information, police went to the spot at VIP Road of Kakrail, opposite to Willes Little Flower School and College, and recovered their bloodstained bodies.
