‘Missing’ Kalyan Party secy general found, arrested

Bangladesh Kalyan Party Secretary General MM Aminur Rahman has been found nearly four months after he reportedly went missing and shown arrested.  

After tracking his mobile phone, a team of Detective Branch (DB) of police of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested Aminur from Gulshan’s Shahjadpur area around 12:00pm last night , said Sheikh Nazmul Alam, additional deputy inspector general of DB.

Aminur has been kept at DB office, he said adding that he was shown arrested in a case filed earlier against him with Gulshan Police Station.

Nothing has been known about his missing till now, added the DB official.

The Kalyan Party secretary general Aminur reportedly went missing from Nayapaltan area of Dhaka nearly four months back. 

It is worth to be mentioned here that after journalist Utpal Das, North South University (NSU) teacher Mubashar Hasan returned his home early Friday.
