JSC, primary results today

The results of this year’s Primary School Certificate (PSC),  Ebtedayee terminal examinations, Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations will be published today (Saturday).

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid and Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman will hand over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina around 10:00am.

After the prime minister publishes the results, she might participate in a video conference with teachers and students from some schools across the country.

This year, a total of 30,96,075 students took part in the PSC and its madrasa equivalent Ebtedayee examinations. Among them, 28,04,509 examinees -- 12,99,985 male and 15,04,524 female -- appeared for PSC examinations.

On the other hand, 24, 68,820 eighth graders appeared in the JSC and JDC exams this year. Of them, 20.90 lakh students sat for the JSC exams and around 3.78 lakh students took the JDC exams.
