95.18pc pass PEC, 92.94pc Ebtedayee exams

The results of this year's Primary Education Completion (PEC) and its equivalent Ebtedayee examinations have been published.

The success rate of PEC exams for school students stands at 95.18 percent while 92.94 percent madrasa-goers passed the Ebtedayee exams. 

Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman handed  over the results  to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the Ganabhaban around 10:00am on Saturday.

Education Minister Nurul Islam was also present.

The PEC and its equivalent Ebtedayee exams began on November 20 and ended on November 26 across the country with the participation of 3,096,075 students in 7,267 exam centres.
