BGB member killed in city road crash

A member of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) was killed near Bijoy Sharani Urojahaj crossing under Tejgaon thana in the city on Saturday morning.

The accident took place around 7:00am when a bus knocked down the motorcycle of BGB lance nayek Ropon Deu, 45, leaving him critically injured, said the duty officer at the police outpost of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

The injured was taken to the DMCH where doctors declared him dead around 8:00am.
