Gazipur, Khulna city corporations polls on May 15

Elections to Gazipur and Khulna city corporations will be held on May 15.

Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda announced the election schedule for the two city corporations at a press conference at the Nirbachon Bhaban in Dhaka on Saturday.

According to the election schedule, the deadline for the submission of nomination papers is April 12. The dates for scrutinising the nomination papers are April 15 and 16 while the last date for withdrawal of candidature is April 23.
