'Kingpin' of credit card fraud gang held

Members of Crime Investigation Department (CID) have arrested the kingpin of a credit card fraud gang from the city.

The information was provided by the CID in a text message to media on Wednesday morning. 

The details and the identity of the accused will be disclosed at a press briefing later in the day, it said.

Tipped off, a team of Organised Crime unit of CID conducted a drive in different parts of the city and arrested the accused following the recent credit card fraud cases of five banks.

The CID also recovered huge clone cards and card making equipment’s from his possession.
