HC stays Gazipur city corporation election

The High Court on Sunday stayed the elections to Gazipur City Corporation scheduled to be held on May 15.

The court stayed the polls following a writ petition challenging the election, reports UNB.

Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda announced the election schedule for Gazipur and Khulna city corporations on March 31.
